Criclounge Ball to Ball Commentary
Fitting end to a series between 2 evenly balanced team. The series has been shared with 1-1 but a promising ODI series is about to come your way. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. See you all tomorrow where India take on England in the second one day match. Till then its Arun signing off on behalf of Nirav, Darshan and Ramkrishnan. Adios!
Hashim Amla - At one stage we were struggling but Wayne and Rusty played sensibly to take us through. Its not just matter of hitting but its matter of winning. Its a lovely feeling to win and get some confidence going. The team enjoyed it and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was important to get some momentum ahead of the ODI series.
Rusty Theron - Its one of the rare occassion in my life. I mean its obviously going to be important for me to bowl well. I thank the management for supporting me. Coaching staff worked with me in the net that has paid off and it was a terrific stand with Wayne Parnell at the end. Some emotions will come out after beating a quality side like Australia.
Rusty Theron Man of the Match
Cameron White - We didnt execute our plans to perfection. Saying that this is a young side and a good experience for them. I thought we will win with the last 5 overs to go but thats the way to go. Fantastic Crowd and stadium. South Africans like winning here but unfortunately we didnt do that tonight. Lack fo Experience was one of the reason.
The players have donated the man of the match winning prize and also the fees of the first game to the charity
Stay Tuned for the Presentation.
What a turnaround this is. Australia chose to bat and posted a total of 147 runs in their 20 overs quota, thanks to Mitchell Marsh's late burst. South African batsmen struggled to give a good start, lost 4 wickets in just under 50 runs, Australia took another 3 wickets in the margin of 40 more runs, they had the match in the sniffing distnace. Rusty Theron & Wayne Parnell made the difference in the end, striking 6 boundaries and 3 sixes to win the match with 5 balls to spare.
19.1
David Hussey to Rusty Theron, SIX!!! It's all over!!! Parnell and Theron seem that they have a train to catch as they finish this game off quickly by virtue of a deep-midwicket slog by Theron to a quicker delivery on the stumps from Hussey. Terrific partnership at the end.
18.6
Pat Cummins to Rusty Theron, 1 run, Pitched fuller and outside off stump. Theron slogged it to long on, did not time it too well but enough to take a single. Run a ball is required.

Pat Cummins to Rusty Theron, no run, Theron has the dancing shoes at the moment, but Cummins drags his length back wisely and bowls a short ball. One for the over it is!!!!

18.2
Pat Cummins to Wayne Parnell, FOUR!! Short delivery from Cummins, it was too quick for a batsman playing at no.9, but Parnell pulled it like squatting a mosquito, the ball raced to the deep midwicket fence for a boundary.

Pat Cummins to Rusty Theron, 1 run leg_bye, a furious delivery on the off stump, Theron gets it on his body and they run a leg bye.
