  Criclounge Ball to Ball Commentary

That’s it from us at criclounge for the four match test series. However as a keen cricket enthusiast I still have high hopes from the young guns of India in the shorter version of the game. A Revamped Sri Lankan team under leadership of Mahela Jayawardene and an inform Australian Team who is at the crest of ODI Rankings looks out to be a interesting tri series lined-up ahead of us.

On other hand New Zealand is beating Zimbabwe with ease and the Pakistan England Test looks to be a heading towards an exhilarating contest.

So do tune into the other two games and join us back for the 2 T20’s and the CB Series which starts in early February.  Till then this is Darshan bidding adieu on behalf of our whole commentary team.

M Clarke : Lot of credit has to go to the players and support staff. The job we have done in last two months is amazing. There have been few ups and downs in last few months but in the end we got there (at top). Disappointment of last summer and hard work is the key to our recent success. Every day we want to train hard and you see the result. Australian public loves the Indian team, they are in bit of slack but the team is full of legends. I hope it gets better (my batting), my game still needs improvement.

M Clarke : Man of the Series

MS Dhoni : Australians played consistent cricket. Their batsmen played well in partnership when needed and their bowlers also stepped up when needed. You have to be consistent with your line and length in Australia. Once a batsman is set, it gets difficult to get him out. We will have to wait and watch. Next series we play is in September. We know what went wrong in Australia and England. Plenty of time to think and take decision. A Good ODI series coming up. ODI Team is full of youngsters who love their fielding, that’s one thing we enjoy in shorter version of the game

Peter Siddle : I was just happy for other boys also. We are happy we got the job done together. We wanted to bowl in partnership and we stuck to our plan and got the rewards. Bowling on length and little bit of shape did the trick.

Man of the Match : Peter Siddle

This session started with Aussies needing 4 wickets to wrap things up, they just did that. Ishant and Saha departed immediately, Zaheer had some fun and he too walked back, In the end, Nathan Lyon managed to get his fifth victim as Umesh got an edge to Haddin. The Aussies have been ruthless in this series and the margin of victories show that. I was here expecting some fight from the  tail, but I almost forgot how this series has been. Atleast the players can take solace from the fact that the misery has actually ended. Stay tuned for the presentation.

What a disappointing series this has been for Indian Team and fans. They never stood up to the occasion except the first 3 days of 1st Test match. Since the downfall on last day of first test match the Indian Team failed to recover throughout the whole series. In the end succumbing to one of its most shameful defeat in Cricket History. It can't get lower than this.
