South African batsman Richard Levi has said that he wants to play all formats of cricket and should not be just considered as a T20 specialist.
“It`s merely one format in which I have had a decent run and performed well in. I`ve also scored centuries in one-day and four-day competitions. I think I`ve started reasonably well in all formats of the game,” said Levi.
Levi caught the attention of people after hammering a world-record 117 runs of 51 balls to crush New Zealand in the second T20 international at Hamilton.
He broke previous record of Chris Gayle which was of 50 deliveries. Levi scored hundred in 45 balls and stole another record from Gayle with hitting 13 sixes in an innings, held by Gayle's 10 sixes previously.
